Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal is a marvelous hotel that offers 532 accommodation facilities. The recently opened retreat’s architectural design has 15th and 17th century Venetian influences. The hotel is in fact 10 stately buildings connected in a crescent structure. The immense hotel boasts a 17,222 square-foot pool, which is situated in front of the main building. Accommodation is provided in club level rooms, standard rooms, villas or suites. The suites ensure gorgeous views of the Grand Canal and flaunt a total living space of 915 square feet and beautiful balconies. One of the most luxurious spaces is the Royal Suite, which is set on the top floor and occupies and area of 2700 square feet. It boasts semi-precious stones and Italian inspired wood inlays.

Private One and Two-Bedroom Villas

The hotel houses 85 such accommodations that spread over 968 to 1,400 square feet of space. All of them are equipped with large outdoor terraces that feature gorgeous pergolas that grant sweeping views of the Grand Mosque and the staggering garden. With feather beds, individual rain shower facilities and 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, these villas are quite impressive.

Spa facilities are aren’t available yet, as they are scheduled to open in 2014. The spa will occupy a space of 21,500 square feet and will have 15 different therapy rooms. It will also feature a plunge pool and a private beach. But the array of luxurious amenities that the hotel offers doesn’t stop here. It flaunts 10 fine dining venues from which to choose depending on whether you’re in the mood for Japanese, Arabic or Italian food. The retreat is also equipped with various bars and lounges, a pool restaurant and two pool bars.
