The Excellence V Superyacht by Abeking & Rasmussen
Abeking & Rasmussen is a Germany-based shipyard that was founded in 1907 by Henry Rasmussen and George Abeking. The high-end manufacturer launched its fifth vessel in 2011, called the Excellence V.
This beautiful superyacht was sketched out by the London-based Reymond Langton design firm in collaboration with the boat’s owner. The 60 meter-long (196 feet) vessel is able to provide luxurious accommodations and large living quarters for up to 14 guests, in lavishly appointed guestrooms located mostly on the fore main deck, including two double cabins, two twins and a VIP suite. The master suite is the exception, located on the upper deck and complemented by a neighboring double suite.
Beautiful and practical, the Excellence V incorporates some flexible design features as well, such as the three hull openings that provide a path leading to premium facilities like the aft swimming and diving platform, the cinema, a gymnasium, a massage room, a beach club on the starboard side and a tender launching pad.
A central elevator located in the main lobby links all five decks, while a circular staircase provides access to interior accommodations. Dining and lounging spaces are reserved at the aft, where guests can also enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar or relax on comfortable L-shaped sofas.
