Superb Brabus 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Brabus’ tuning specialists already set their eye on the brand new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class model and quickly came up with a series of packages that significantly improve the car’s looks, handling and performance capabilities.
The interior arrangements include leather upholstery, complemented by Alcantara and BRABUS Mastik leather elements that give off a sense of utmost elegance and sophistication. Furthermore, the vehicle can be equipped with a state-of-the-art BRABUS multimedia system unmatched by any other of its kind.
Visually speaking, BRABUS equipped the S-Class with a superb body kit that involves carbon fiber and PUR plastics, while the standard rims were replaced by a stunning set of BRABUS Monoblock alloy wheels that come in either 21”, 20” or 19”. The wheels are enveloped in high-quality rubber from YOKOHAMA, Pirelli or Continental, each version providing maximum performance and durability.
As far as power is concerned, the car can be equipped with a sport exhaust system boasting a controlled butterfly valve, which features two distinct performance modes named Coming Home and Sport.
The Mercedes-Benz S500 model, which is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 bi-turbo engine, can be equipped with the BRABUS B50 – 520 PowerXtra CGI package that allows the engine to deliver 604 lb-ft of torque and 520HP. This enables a 0-62 sprint in just 4.2 seconds, while the top speed can be limited to either 186, 168 or 155 mph according to preference. This package offers a plus of 65 horsepower over the standard configuration.
Moreover, the BRABUS B63 – 650 PowerXtra CGI package can enable an S 63 AMG model to dish out 737 lb-ft of torque and 650 horsepower, while the BRABUS B63S – 730 high-performance version ensures 785 lb-ft of torque as well as 730HP. This high-performance package also includes a BRABUS Vmax unit that limits the automobile’s top speed to 202 mph.
