Summer 2013 Surf Shack Collection by Tommy Hilfiger
The Tommy Hilfiger Summer 2013 Surf Shack collection is a limited edition line that suggests fashionable alternatives to the conventional swimwear clothing items currently preferred by the American surf culture. The pieces boast casual designs and give off a sense of stylish comfort, which is why they might be appreciated even by those that are not all that much into surfing or they’re just looking for some outstanding beachwear essentials.
Highlights for the ladies include a splendid white blazer, a chambray playsuit, raffia wedge sandals, lovely totes and a gorgeous pleated white dress, while the men’s options are even more varied. This fabulous collection, however, brings so much more to the table in the form of five unique surfboards created with the help of American artists such as Richard Phillips, Lola Schnabel, Gary Simmons, Raymond Pettibon and Scott Campbell. This particular project was made possible due to a collaboration with a non-profit organization called the Art Production Fund. The boards come with a price tag of $2000 each, and they are available for purchase from Tommy Hilfiger stores.
