Stunning Mercedes-Benz G-Code Crossover Concept
How impressed are you at the mere sight of this futuristic concept? It would have been pretty amazing with any badge on, but when you also see the iconic Mercedes-Benz star on its illuminated grille, you can’t help but get extra happy about it.
This here is the Mercedes-Benz G-Code concept, which will very likely never see the inside of a production hall. The first thing that caught our eyes (and we are willing to bet it caught your attention too) is the front grille, with its colorful lights. Apparently they indicate what driving mode the car is in, changing from blue to red and purple.
LED headlights and other cool lighting details make the crossover look extra futuristic both inside and outside. This is the smallest crossover ever designed by Mercedes, measuring only 161 inches long, but it rolls on large 21-inch alloy wheels that give it a quite imposing stance.
However, the most impressive thing for us is the super-smart technology that literally wraps the whole car. The body is painted with a multi-voltaic paint that acts like a solar panel, generating energy when the sun reaches its surface. Furthermore, when wind brushes against it (which is pretty much always while on the road), it also regenerates electrostatic energy. How can anyone not get excited over this concept?
