Perini Navi’s Fabulous Melek Superyacht
The Melek is a magnificent 183-foot long superyacht that was built by the Italian shipyard Perni navi, and it was launched back in September 2010. Apart from its breathtaking looks, luxurious interiors and impressive performance capabilities, what makes this vessel stand out is its uniquely designed foredeck, which includes a built-in tender storage.
The yacht’s highly aerodynamic and hydrodynamic superstructure was made using aluminum, while the appendages and hull lines have been optimized for performance and efficiency thanks to Ron Holland. The exterior boasts a sporty look, while its boom, superstructure and mast feature a grey chrome paint job. The masts have been designed and created by the Perini Navi Masts Division, and the furling boom was made using carbon fiber. The sail plan extends to over 4,921 feet, which is quite impressive.
The aft cockpit is quite fantastic, flaunting retractable TV screens, ample storage space, an al fresco dining area and two generous L-shaped sofas. The flybridge is quite amazing as well, with its two L-shaped sofas, sunbathing area, lavish Jacuzzi and built-in refrigerators.
The interiors were tastefully decorated and furnished, giving off a sense of utmost elegance and comfort. The main saloon flaunts leather-wrapped cabinets, a three-ramp staircase leading towards the guest deck and a central ramp connecting to the flybridge. The saloon is divided into two separate areas thanks to the main staircase. The first area represents a lovely dining space with an S-shaped sofa, two small armchairs, a card table and a round table with enough seating for 12. The second area comes in the form of a splendid living space with a coffee table, two armchairs and a comfy sofa.
Accommodations include four double guest cabins – three with double beds and en-suite bathrooms and one with two twin beds, a Pullman and an en-suite bathroom. The owner’s full-beam suite is by far the most luxurious and imposing, featuring two different areas. One is represented by a bathroom with bathtub and shower, while the other comprises a comfortable bedroom with high-end amenities as well as a superb central island with a vanity table and a double sink.
This incredible vessel is available for charter during the summer, on the Mediterranean Sea.
