Overdrive Improves A Jaguar XJ220
The Jaguar XJ220 is undoubtedly one of the most incredible supercars ever made by the famed British carmaker, which is why most automobile enthusiasts would probably frown at the news that a tuning company would like to modify it in any way. Be that as it may, we have to admit that the expert tuners at Overdrive did manage to improve this already near-perfect automobile by implementing a series of subtle yet spectacular modifications both visually and performance-wise.
It’s worth noting that the Jaguar XJ220 was part of a limited edition of just 275 units and that the car in question was the 98th exemplary. However, even though this particular model was and still is highly popular, the car modified by Overdrive was only driven for 12,427 miles, which means that it was in great condition. The main modifications implemented by the Bulgarian tuning specialists are of a visual nature, and most of them can be observed at a glance. The incredible chameleon paintjob, for example, flaunts subtle shades of brown, green and gold, while the superb set of ADV.1 Wheels are definitely better-looking compared to their stock counterparts.
Other details include an Akrapovic carbon exhaust system as well as a stunning set of Ferrari 599 GTB taillights, but Overdrive also saw fit to upgrade the interior of this incredible car by adding a series of carbon fiber trims complemented by Alcantara leather upholstery. The state-of-the-art Ground Zero audio system is a nice touch as well, but no music can ever act as a substitute for the sweet sound created by the Jaguar’s roaring V6 3.5-liter twin-turbo engine. Speaking of the engine, you should also know that Overdrive took the time to restore it completely so that it may operate at peak performance.
