London Olympics comes up next year and a limited edition special of watches are here! For the 2012 games, they have revived the Omega Seamaster, which was launched in 1948, a day before the 1984 London Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. The Seamaster 1948 Co-Axial London 2012 Limited Edition will be set inside a 39mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and an 18-carat yellow gold medallion on the case back that sports an embossed London 2012 Olympic Games logo.Only 1,948 units will be available . The watch comes with an opaline silver dial with a tiny seconds subdial located at the 6 o’clock marker. The vintage Omega logo is created with 18-carat white gold and sports 18 carat white gold Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions as well as other hour markers. The watxch works on the Swiss automatic Omega in-house 2202 movement that has a Co-Axial escapement on three-levels and a free sprung-balance.The timepiece is resistance at 120 meters of water.Omega Seamaster 1948 Co-Axial London 2012 Limited Edition unveiled (1)
