Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum Honoring the Birthplace of Enzo Ferrari
Do you like Ferrari?Well,now the Italian city of Modena is a Mecca for car lovers the world, for here was born and started Enzo Ferrari. Moreover, Modena is where you can find the headquarters of Pagani and Maserati brands.One of the biggest personalities from the automotive industry and also one of the legends of auto racing, Enzo Ferrari, has finally its own museum.
Investment amounted to about 18 million euros, being supported in most part by local authorities. They hope that over 200,000 tourists annually pass the museum, which would mean a lot for the region’s economy.The building was designed in 2003 by famous architect Jan Kaplicky. After his death in 2009, his former colleague at Future Systems, Andrea Morgante, has completed the design of the building, which is inspired by historical Ferrari models.
Built near the home town from Italy, Modena, the new Museo Casa Ferrari Enzo has no official connection with the Museo Ferrari in Maranello, which is the official museum of Italian sports car manufacturer.
