Men’s Collection by Prada on Setting Designed by AMO and OMA
AMO, OMA’s research studio, created an unusual setting for the presentation of the 2013 autumn/winter collection by Prada during Men’s Fashion week in Milan. The setting consists of an “ideal house” that features angular furniture pieces, soon to be released by OMA together with American Furniture label Knoll. The catwalk is brought to life by the models and the window frames flaunting indoor and outdoor urban images, the purpose of the stage design being to depict a domestic scene.
Wood and a grey color scheme were used for the setting, whereas the futuristic furniture is made of Plexiglas, metal and wood with paper textures. Blue foam and painted wood were used for the objects. Prada’s amazing catwalks have been designed by AMO and OPA for over ten years now.
