Marco Schembri’s Luxe Lamborghini EDROID Concept
As you may be aware by now, Lamborghini launched its Asterion Hybrid concept not too long ago during the Paris Motor Show, where the vehicle received nothing but positive feedback. However, an independent designer named Marco Schembri decided to go ahead and create his own version of what a hybrid Lamborghini should look like.
The Lamborghini EDROID concept was envisioned as a part of the Italian carmaker’s F-segment, which means that it was penned down with luxury and comfort in mind. Schembri worked hard in order to design end research technologies for the car’s ergonomic design, hybrid powertrain, aerodynamic properties and user interface so that it may be up to par with current standards. Should it ever become a reality, the vehicle would be built using somewhat unusual materials, with polyethylene being a possible solution for some body parts.
Last but not least, many of the ride’s electric systems would be powered by triple junction photovoltaic cells, which would go a long way towards increasing its eco-friendliness.
