Moto Guzzi is a renowned Italian motorbike manufacturer, and its classic California bike has been in production for over 4 decades, becoming the most famous European bike in North America and the official vehicle of the Los Angeles Police.
The company has now released a brand new California model with two versions, both boasting a wide array of modern technologies and impressive performance capabilities. The versions are called Tourer and Custom, and they are ready for booking and sales throughout the United States.
The Touring has a price tag of $17,990 and is available in two colors: Ambassador Black and Eldorado White. The California 1400 Custom ABS costs $14,990 and comes in either Basalt Black or Mercury Gray.
For the 2014 California, Moto Guzzi used the largest two-cylinder engine ever made in Europe, featuring a 1,380 cc displacement, 120 Nm of torque and 96 horsepower. The bikes also come with LED lighting, a Ride by Wire system, various safety features and a wheelbase of 1,685 millimeters (66 inches) for extra comfort. The more adventurous types will be pleased to know that the company also outfitted their products with a triple level MGCT traction level control that ensures better handling in bad weather condition, as well as three power out modes : Pioggia (for rain), Turismo (touring) and Veloce (sport).
