Luxury Resort in Bali, Meet the Alila Ubud
Designed as a miniature community of sorts, Alila Ubud is a charming boutique luxury resort in Bali nestled among the central foothills along the picturesque Ayung River valley.
Alila Ubud’s accommodations sit on stilts overlooking the ravine like luxurious tree houses – 14 two-story units to be exact. The structures, designed by world-famous architectural firm Kerry Hill Architects, feature an intriguing mix of traditional Balinese design with modern elements: thatched roofs, gravel, and wood on one hand, and concrete, terrazzo tiles, and glass on the other are combined to great effect, contributing to the charming atmosphere as much as the lush natural surroundings.
This luxurious emerald green infinity pool at Alila Ubud offers the guests an incredible chance to experience a semi-private pool, an option that isn’t readily available in every country. Not only will you have the chance make some friends, but you’ll be able to relax in and around a pool that was built for many guests. This personalized-public pool is sure to entertain any group of individuals in almost any circumstance they find themselves in. It sits upon a plateau of sorts surrounded by the indigenous flora and fauna. We at RareDelights would consider this area the epitome of luxury.
A great place to spend time is Spa Alila, an oasis of serenity where well-trained therapists will take you though a rejuvenating treatment that will both stimulate and relax mind and body. Nutrition is also very important, so the resort offers fresh, healthy, natural food, expertly prepared by Alila Ubud’s skilled culinary team.
With many options for sleeping arrangements, Alila Ubud is sure to present a stay to any customer that is deserving of royalty. Be it the pool, the assortment of overlooks, or just the beautiful ground outside, Alila Ubud is a destination that will mesmerize you, make you forget who you are, and then find yourself once more.
This is the room I would want. Imagine waking up and seeing this view at the foot of your bed. Wake up and walk outside and feel the beautiful sun on your skin while you hop in the pool to help wake yourself up. Few people get to see a reality like this in their lives.
Then again, a view like this isn’t too bad either. Looking out into the lush vegetation with a cup of coffee in hand would do wonders for the sleep to wake process. I almost can’t imagine a better way to prepare yourself for the day.
I mean just look at this spa area with mood lighting. Try to tell me you wouldn’t want to go to this place. I dare you. If anyone has been to this place and wants to give it a quick review, let us know at the bottom!
