Zaha Hadid is one of the best known female architests in the world, some of her majectic projects inluding the Sadiyat Island and the soon to be opened Dubai Opera House. This genious fashionista also extended her work past architectural boundaries, as she designed a striking futuristic bar and the Zboat. Her latest non-architectural item is the Liquid Glacial coffee table, made of resin and acrylic. This stunning piece is designed to immitate water dymanics to the smallest detail and the final result looks so realistic that you would expect it to start dripping at any moment.
The amazing coffee table is priced at a whopping $160,000 and was nominated for the London Design Musem’s 2013 awards in the furniture segment. Measuring 750 mm in height, the table can be separated into two smaller pieces.
