Katy Perry Talks Fashion and Makeup with InStyle October 2011

When it comes to style, Katy Perry knows how to color the landscape. The singer has an innate talent to adopt aspects highly colored through which to leave out as much.On the cover of InStyle, the October, Firework hit play and color matching the color issue head ornaments, resulting in something, like, sweet waiting to be tasted. Inside, the 26-year-old singer sits down for a chat with the magazine and talks about her enchanting life, her red carpet style, but also about her husband Russell Brand and having kids.

Katy admits that, “I ordered a special chair from the dentist so I can lie back and wake up looking like a million bucks — I call it my Sleeping Beauty makeup.” Speaking about her ‘always-delicious red carpet style’, Katy told InStyle that, “I kind of use this inner dial: Either I turn it up or down.”

Katy confesses in the interview for InStyle that she does not want children:”Not yet. I think if you’re married, it’s often in your future. I think in the future – the very far future – when I have children, I’ll have a more open approach, setting boundaries and showing them what their decisions and choices will breed,” she says.

“I’m not going to sit and be steamrolled. I am full of unicorns and Care Bears 99 percent of the time, but don’t open Pandora’s Box of that other 1 percent—because it’s there,” she told the magazine.
