Kate Middleton Gave Birth to a Beautiful Baby Boy
The whole world is currently celebrating the birth of the future king of Great Britain, as Kate Middleton and Prince William are now the proud parents of beautiful, healthy baby boy. The big news came from Kensington Palace through a news release late Monday. Shortly after, the bulletin was printed and posted in front of Buckingham Palace, to be observed by all.
People rapidly flocked to catch a glimpse of the soon-to-be famous piece of paper, which stated: “Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 4:24 pm. Her Royal Highness and her son are both doing well.”
The event was celebrated, by dying the fountains found in Trafalgar Square blue, while the London Eye featured a color combination involving white, blue and red. London’s Tower Bridge was also bathed in blue light, honoring the birth of the prince. The military also played a big part in the celebrations, as the Honourable Artillery Company fired 62 rounds in light of the new event, while the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery fired a 41 Gun Royal Salute.
The baby weights 8lbs 6oz and he has already been granted the title of “His Royal Highness “. The Queen declared that she was “delighted” to hear the news, while Prince Charles declared himself “overjoyed” and “enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time”.
