Jon Bon Jovi Sells Penthouse in Soho for $42 Million
The lead singer of the American band Bon Jovi, Jon Bon Jovi, bought a duplex penthouse located in Manhattan back in 2007. After purchasing the 7,500-square-foot residence, the singer did what any respectable celebrity would have done – refurbished it. What is now a media room, formerly was a space divided into two master suites. The two kitchens of the home were also given state-of-the-art appliances and expensive furniture. In 2011 the duplex appeared on the market and Bon Jovi allegedly asked $45 million for it. The duplex was reportedly listed again recently, this time with a price tag of $42 million.
What makes this residence very appealing are its large glass walls that give it an airy feel, the gorgeous views of Soho, the large mirrored fireplace, the high ceilings and the open-plan great room. The 3,100 square feet of private outdoor space, which boast three terraces and great landscaping, only add to the appeal of the penthouse. The largest terrace is said to serve entertainment purposes, whereas the other two are destined for relaxation.
