Girard-Perregaux Enamel to John Harrison watch unveiled

Girard-Perregaux has unveiled a limited series of watches, as part of its collection.This collection is dedicat to renowned British watchmaker John Harrison.He was born on March 24,1693 and he devoted his entire life to creating accurate timepieces.The Girard-Perregaux Enamel to John Harrison watch’s dial depicts the journey undertaken by his son William from Portsmouth in England to Port Royal in Jamaica, against a map of the Atlantic Ocean, contours of which are engraved on an unprocessed plate of white gold.

The compass rose shows eight directions of the wind and measures more than 3 mm hand-sculpted.The timepiece has a transparent case-back that reveal  the Girard-Perregaux 033G0 automatic caliber.If you like this beauty you will must hurry because only 50 of these timepieces will be available.
