Four Seasons Resort Maldives Hosts Surfing Championship
Surfing enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the Four Seasons Resort Maldives provides a special package that is meant to cater to their needs. The Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy 2013 will take place this August, and since it is the most luxurious surfing event in the world, it will surely attract a multitude of spectators.
The event was organized with the help of surf pioneers Tropicsurf of Noosa, Australia, and it will also hold the Four Seasons Maldives Domestic Championship Trophy for the locals. Both events will be hosted on board the Four Seasons Explorer – a spectacular three-deck, liveaboard luxury catamaran.
The aforementioned package targets groups of surfers and offers a minimum deal of four rooms for seven nights. Benefits include lavish oceanfront accommodations, an expert tropical surf school guide, and if guests check-in during the championship they receive day passes aboard the Four Seasons Explorer so they can enjoy the action up-close.
During the main event, six former world-champions including surfing legend Damien “Dooma” Hardman will compete for a grand prize of $25,000. Sounds exciting!
