Fantastic 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG
As one of the most respected and successful car manufacturers in the world, Mercedes-Benz creates better and better automobiles each year. The brand new 2014 S63 AMG model is quicker, lighter and much more energy efficient compared to its 2014 S-Class sedan counterpart.
This car is powered by a roaring 5.5-litre V8 engine that is able to deliver outstanding power figures such as 664 lb-ft of torque and 577 horsepower, enabling a 0-60 sprint in just 3.9 seconds. All that power is fed to all four wheels via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT seven-speed automatic gearbox, which offers three distinct driving modes: Manual, Sport and Controlled Efficiency. The Controlled Efficiency version was designed for maximum comfort and optimum fuel savings, making use of a state-of-the-art ECO start/stop function that automatically turns off the engine if the car is standing still at stoplights for example. Furthermore, the car turned out to be 220 lbs lighter than the S-Class thanks to the extensive use of aluminum in its construction process, but also because it includes a lightweight lithium battery as well as a stunning set of AMG wheels.
Standard features include LED high-performance headlamps, sports pedals, attention assist, ambient lighting, 10 loudspeakers with Frontbass and more.
The S63 AMG will be officially unveiled this September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but Mercedes-Benz decided to release a couple of early photos of their new masterpiece, which you can now admire yourself by browsing through the following gallery.
