Expensive Cognac from Chapters of Ampersand Will Run You $8,000!
We’ve had some pricey bottles of liquor here on RareDelights.com, but this bottle of Cognac may just take the cake. At a staggering price of $8,000, I’m not sure anyone is actually going to drink this stuff. It’s kind of like buying a small Kia and having to dispose of it after a few test drives. Interested in blowing large sums of money on objects that make you feel like a king? Read on to learn more about this expensive Cognac.
Chapters of Ampersand have their name on this beautiful bottle, and their name has become synonymous with luxury liquor bottles, including exquisite design and quality alcohol. The Swedish are known for their glassmaking, and this company hopes to bring together that tradition as well as the classic Cognac alcohol, culminating in what they’re calling the new Et No 1.
This Cognac is the work of Master Blender Folke Anderson from Chapters of Ampersand. The description is, “full-bodied with notes of apricot, sweet toffee, vanilla and licorice with a golden amber color.”
The glass bottle itself is of exquisite fashion and design, created by Swedish glass artist Göran Wärff, and actually handmade by two of the worlds greatest glass blowers, Jan-Erik Ritzman and Sven-Åke Carlsson. With an exquisite Cognac must come an exquisite bottle. Not only is the Cognac supposed to be out of this world, but if you’ve ever poured alcohol out of a bottle that looks like this, then that probably means you live in a mansion, or have some really cool friends.
Limited to only 300 bottles, this special and expensive cognac is quite the limited piece. If you want to get your hands on one, you better order soon.
