Eco-Friendly Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe Concept
The Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe Concept is a very interesting vehicle both visually and technically, surely to be appreciated by environmentally conscious SUV lovers. The five-seater was seen at the Shanghai Motor Show, and it is powered by two electric motors (one at the front and one at the back) and a 295-horsepower V6 engine.
The electric motors get juice from a 9.8-kWh lithium-ion battery, while the V6 uses conventional gasoline. All three combined are able to generate an output of 415 horsepower, enabling a top speed of 147mph and a 0 to 60 sprint in just 5.9 seconds. Another important factor to consider is, of course, the range. The Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe Concept is able to travel 21 miles using electric power alone, while a combined cycle is able to ensure a theoretical range of 720 miles.
As far as looks are concerned, the car is 192.5 inches long, 66.1 inches high and 79.3 inches wide, boasting a 117.3-inch wheelbase and a spectacular set of 22-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The front section of the car flaunts a radiator grille trim along with LED headlights, while the rear lights are encircled by an aluminum strip with two lighting elements implemented on each side. The interior boasts a blend of modern technological features and comfortable seating arrangements. See it all for yourself in the pictures below!
