Drambuie Launches The Spirit of ’45 Whisky
Drambuie is launched The Jacobite Collection-The Spirit of 45’to global travel retail at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes next month.The collection includes just 150 presentation boxes of The Jacobite Collection and will cost £3,500 (US$5,800) per set.It has a solid wood box with a hand-etched crystal replica of the Spottiswoode Amen glass,and a large crystal stopper for the decanter.
The company said: “The launch of The Jacobite Collection is a major step in Drambuie’s marketing strategy for global travel retail, which is an integral part of its overall rejuvenation strategy to reposition the brand to appeal to new markets and consumers.”
The Collection was chosen by Drambuie’s Master Blender, Derek McInally and it blend of limited 45 year old whiskies has notes of vanilla, green apples and cut grass,adding sweet honey and herbal notes ,toffee,fennel and cardamom.
