Diamond and Blue Diamond Crossover Ring made by Bulgari Fetches £1.9 Million
Bulgari brand ring mounted with a rare diamond in the world with vivid shades of blue, was recently sold at auction for $ 1,889,250 million pounds, equivalent to 2.15 million euros, double the starting price.The ring was exposed for the first time since its creation in 1960 and aroused great interest among collectors. Bulgari ring blue diamond sold to a collector eventually private in Europe, which was willing to offer huge amount of money, surpassing 200 other offers in the auction house Bonham’s.
Ring size L is fitted with a blue diamond alive, 3.78 carat pear-shaped with slanting sides. Experts estimate that only one of ten such diamonds is so pure that you have a vivid blue light.
The Bulgarian company that created the design of this ring, was founded in Rome in 1884, and Richard Burton argue about his wife Elizabeth Taylor, who was obsessed with jewelry, as Bulgaria is the only word in Italian that it know Elizabeth.
