Delta Expedition Megayacht Triton up for Auction
The Triton is an expedition-style superyacht that was built in 2004 by Delta Marine, and it will be auctioned on April 26 by the order of the United States Marshal. The 163-foot vessel boasts sturdiness and reliability thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber in its construction. These traits would surely be appreciated by adventurous-types that enjoy deep-sea scuba diving, sport fishing and water games.
The yacht flaunts a wide array of conveniences and facilities including a sky lounge, a helipad, a versatile galley used as a country kitchen or as a crew-exclusive area, housing for a crew of 10, mahogany paneling and exquisite accommodation options for up to 14 guests.
These accommodations include four guest staterooms with pullmans along with a lavish master suite boasting utmost privacy and comfort.
The power comes from two Caterpillar diesel engines capable of producing 1,000 horsepower each, ensuring a range of 6,100 nautical miles at 12 knots.
