C63 AMG Edition 507 by Mercedes-Benz
German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz recently informed the public about the launching of their C63 AMG Edition 507 model. The reported output of 507 hp and 610 Nm of torque is generated by the upgraded 6.3-liter V8 engine that also enables the vehicle to reach an impressive top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h). Three versions of the car will be available, the sedan, the coupe and the estate.
The material used for the breaking system is composite, the system itself boasting 360 x 36 mm disks and red calipers. The lightweight crankshaft, the forged pistons and the connecting rods all feature technology that was originally developed for the brand’s SLS model. These additions will make it possible for the coupe and the saloon to reach 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds, and for the estate in 4.8.
Other improvements include new mirror housings, 19-inch wheels, variable intake manifold in titanium-grey, new ECU, modified grille and boot lid spoiler, a rear axle locking differential and a technologically advanced suspension system.
Mercedes-Benz also made some tweaks to the interior design, covering the steering wheel in Alcantara and using designo leather for the upholstery. No word on the price of this gorgeous car just yet. The fact that it will become available starting on the 8th of April is all we know so far.
