10 Most Beautiful Landscapes of Ecuador
After recently going on a trip to Southern Ecuador, these are some of the most impressive sights that we were able to capture on camera. This is simply a viewing experience. Please enjoy. These are the 10 most beautiful landscapes of Ecuador.
This is the beach right outside of Montanita, Ecuador, which means little mountain. This is a crazy party town, and the views are amazing. This particular picture is of a house on the hill at the end of the beach upon a peninsula that juts out into the ocean on top of a mountain. I can’t imagine what the views are from that house.
This is a picture of the ocean crashing upon the Earth near Salinas, Ecuador, right next to the naval base that located there. This used to be an area where pirates hid their treasure. Then, near modern times, this location was used as a cliff diving spot. Many people died during this escapade, and so it is restricted access. You can see where the gates are on the left side of the picture.
This is a beautiful shot of a huge valley in between a pair of mountain ranges. Much of Ecuador is just as pretty as this, if not prettier. For a look at Ecuador’s most beautiful buildings, check out this post!
This is a picture of the Ingapirca ruins in Ecuador. These ruins were found in the 1960’s, which is very recent. Much of the structures and stones and gold were ransacked and exported to different countries by corrupt individuals who appeared when there were few regulations for this sort of thing in Ecuador.
Another beautiful landscape picture. I love this country.
These are called the Caja’s of Ecuador, or the boxes of Ecuador. They are not man made, and they are all very box shaped for being made by mother nature. Thus, their name. Apparently the fishing here is just fantastic, though it is a bit cold in the mountains in this region.
This is a picture of a rock formation near the Incaperca Ruins, and it’s called the Incan Mask. It is unknown whether the Incans had anything to do with it’s construction, however the proximity of this natural wonder to the ruins itself serves as a testament to the *possible* ingenuity of the Incans.
This is a sweeping field of farms seen through the eye of a valley between two mountains. As a zoom shots go, this one is very good, and shows depth quite well.
Another beautiful shot from Ecuador. We had to get out of the car for this one.
